150 ghost workers discovered at National Assembly

- 150 ghost workers have been discovered at the National assembly

- The verification process was as a result of the debt profile of the National assembly

- Some names on the payroll are those of those “have either left the service or transferred from NASS

MESH NAIJA gathered that no fewer than 150 ghost workers have been discovered at the National assembly.

The ongoing staff verification which led to the discovery is part of the measures put in place to reduce the running cost of the legislative arm.

According to the Nation Newspaper, at least a hundred of the ghost workers were discovered in the House of Representatives.
