FG did not pay ransom to Boko Haram for 82 Chibok girls - Lai Mohammed


- The federal government has denied reports that the two million euro ransom was paid for the rescue of 82 Chibok school girls abducted by Boko Haram terrorists - The federal government said, aside the five Boko Haram commanders that were released by federal government, no money was paid in its negotiation deal with the group - 82 out of the over 200 girls abducted by Boko Haram terrorists were released in a negotiation deal between the federal government and the group... 
Speaking in an interview with the BBC, the minister of information, culture and tourism Lai Mohammed said the report is false and contrary to what transpired between the federal government and the deadly terrorist group.
